Generative Voids

Generative/Algorithmic Art is an interesting medium. I was inspired to re-start doing this while I was at transmediale2019, Berlin. As, I was listening to folks there, I realized that there is an underlying discourse that challenges or rather suspects the role of the creator in the process.

I feel, for me, generative ways are means to open up this huge canvas in which you need to pick up few aesthetically significant accidents. There needs to be an unsettling mix of precision and chaos, of symmetry and repitition, or known and irrelevant.

There is a lot of expression you can get through generative medium, this very aesthetic can make sense. This is what I try to explore. I find this a compelling means to express too. Plus, it looks cool as well.

Recently, one of my works – Threads , was exhibited at function() fest, Mallorca, Spain.
